Notam Pro is able to decode NOTAMs from a wide range of sources and the URLs can be changed to suit your requirements or to reflect any changes made to Web Sites. To update or modify a URL, click on the URL icon or the Change URLs menu item (F11). This will display the following dialog box:

update them for you To obtain new URLs, log onto the Internet and locate your favourite NOTAM web pages with a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Once the NOTAM text is displayed, highlight the URL in the Address box of Internet Explorer or the Location box of Netscape Navigator (drag the mouse cursor over the text while holding down the left mouse button). Copy the text by holding down the Control key and pressing the C key once. Now open the NotamPro URL box and place the mouse cursor into the box where you would like it to be entered (delete any text you do not require first). Hold down the Control key and press the V key once to paste the URL into the box. Add a description of the type of NOTAM that will be obtained by using this URL in the description box. Clicking Accept will keep any changes or additions you have made while clicking Cancel will revert back to the original settings that were displayed when you first opened the URL dialog box. The NATS/AIS web site is currently providing suitable data at the following web pages. The links for these pages can be entered into NotamPro as shown in the dialog box above. For London

FIR IFR/VFR Briefing use: If you are unable to locate web pages that Notam Pro can process directly you can copy NOTAM text from any web page and paste it into the text panel of Notam Pro. Clicking the third button from the left "Process NOTAM text" will decode the text as usual. |
